The Welcome Center—A Gathering Place for Everyone
Incarnation’s new Welcome Center in Farlander Hall
launched on Easter Sunday, festooned with a colorful balloon garland created by
Noemi Valdivia. A lot of love came our way for the inviting atmosphere and
useful information; everyone remarked on how pleasant it was to visit and gave
special nods to the new look of the retail area with the cash register at the
back and the refreshed merchandise displays.
The gift shop sells Fair Trade jewelry and other items that benefit the sellers of the country of origin and, as always, books, icons, cards, religious jewelry, and other items that are particularly centered on Christian faith. Books of a general spiritual interest are also available, as are materials needed for classes.
“Welcome to Incarnation” booklets were distributed after services on Easter. If you didn’t receive one, stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a copy—it’s good information for newcomers and long-timers alike. And while you’re here, chat up anybody with a red “welcome” ribbon on their name tag and learn about upcoming classes and groups.
The Welcome Center & Gift Shop is open Sundays after both worship services. Drop by!
