Thanks to all who participated!
The Sonoma County Pride Parade and Festival was Saturday June 3. It was a beautiful sunny day. The parade had about 100 entries, including the Episcopal Churches of Sonoma County. We had participants from the Church of the Incarnation, Good Shepherd in Cloverdale, St Paul’s in Healdsburg, St Stephen’s in Sebastopol, St. John’s in Petaluma, and St. Patrick’s in Kenwood. All together, we had 60 people marching behind our banner that proclaimed God Loves You. No Exceptions. We shouted out these words as we walked down 4th Street.
Afterwards, we had a booth in Courthouse Square loaded with pamphlets, buttons, rainbow pins, and some friendly church members greeting festival goers.
Thank you to all who participated - whether in the parade, at the booth, or cheering us on. It was a festive day, and such a pleasure to meet people from our fellow Episcopal congregations.
