Sunday Forum, April 14, 9:00: Green Team Leads Video Discussion
In Easter Season, not only do we rejoice in Christ's resurrection, we see signs of that resurrection in the natural world around us. Eastertide is a fitting time to reflect on our call to care for God's creation. Earth Day (April 22) falls during the Easter Season, as does the traditional harvest festival of Rogationtide. So on the Third Sunday of Easter this year, April 14, our Incarnation Green Team will be leading our regular 9:00 a.m. Sunday Forum.
Join us for a viewing and discussion of the short film The Man Who Planted Trees. This film is a beautiful allegory about one man’s efforts to plant trees in a barren valley, and the extraordinary impact it had on the environment and the people who lived there. The film won an Academy Award for best short film in 1988. Please join us to watch the movie and for conversation about its relevance to us today.
