Summer Incarnation Choir: All Welcome
Do you like to sing? During the summer months this year, we have a pick-up Incarnation Choir open to everyone. No long-term commitment needed; just show up at 9:00 on a given Sunday morning to rehearse that day's anthem. During the 10:15 service, singers will sit in the pews for most of the service, then come up just during the offertory to sing the anthem from the chancel steps. It's a fun, easy way to do choir, with no robes (it's hot out!) and not much time commitment, just the simple joy of praising God through music together. It's a great complement to our more formal choir program during fall, winter, and spring--and might be just the right "first taste" if you're considering getting involved.
Even when Jun, our Music Director, is on vacation in July, our guest musicians will still be leading our pick-up choirs. The summer Incarnation Choir will sing at every 10:15 service in June, July, and August, except for Discovery Sunday on August 11.
