Sunday, March 26, 11:45 a.m.: Restarting Our Parish Liturgy Committee
Back before the pandemic we had a parish Liturgy Committee that met roughly monthly. This is an advisory group to the rector which serves as our congregation’s liturgical “think tank,” thinking creatively to plan, reflect on, and evaluate our collective worship life. Now that we've returned to a fuller onsite worship life, it's time to renew our Liturgy Committee. Are you called to be a part of it?
Members should be regular participants in worship at Incarnation with a love of liturgy and an interest in deepening their familiarity with it. They should be willing to commit to attending meetings, doing some reading or other assignments in between, and growing in their own life of faith, prayer, and service.
We will start with a Liturgy Committee meeting from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 26. We may also try to get a May meeting in before breaking for the summer and resuming in fall.
If you're interested in being part of the Liturgy Committee, please contact Stephen Shaver at [email protected].
