News: Open Table still needs pants and shoes!
Thank you, parishioners, for your recent donations of clothing and hygiene items to our weekly Open Table Program, where we serve 60-80 unsheltered neighbors every Sunday. Due to the generosity of a local real estate company, we also received and have distributed more than 500 warm coats this cold and rainy winter to our guests and to local agencies, including the Redwood Gospel Mission, Living Room, Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul and other area churches.
We are still in need of the following items:
- Men’s and women’s jeans/sweatpants/casual jackets
- Men’s and women’s sport shoes - all sizes
- Men’s belts, umbrellas
- Reader glasses
- Tarps, sleeping bags and warm blankets
- Socks, beanie hats and gloves
- Shopping bags - large paper or plastic
- All clothing must be intact, clean, and free from tears.
- Hygiene items - hand wipes, lotion, shampoo
At this time, no other items are needed. Open Table can always use donations of tax-deductible cash as well. Please do not leave items at church; so clean out those closets contact at [email protected] or text/call 805 443-7289 for delivery/pickup.
