January 21 and 28, 9:00 a.m.: Sunday Forum on Justice with Ellen Wondra
When you hear the word justice, what do you imagine? Punishment of wrongs done? Redress of injuries? Establishment of equity? In these two classes, we’ll look at types of justice, with a special focus in the second session on restorative justice.
This two-week series marks the resumption of Sunday Forum after the winter break. It will be led by our own Priest Associate the Rev. Dr. Ellen Wondra. Ellen is a widely published and respected theologian who is professor emerita of theology and ethics from Bexley Seabury Seminary in Chicago. She served for several years as editor-in-chief of the Anglican Theological Review and recently completed a term on the World Council of Churches' Commission on Faith and Order.
Sunday Forum meets at 9:00 a.m. in Short Hall. Join us!
