Sunday, January 14, 12:00 p.m.: Annual Parish Meeting
Please mark your calendars for our Annual Parish Meeting! This year's Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, after the 10:15 service. We'll have a light lunch between the service and the start of the Meeting.
At the Annual Meeting, we celebrate our congregation's life over the past year and look to the year ahead. We'll hear about our 2024 budget and have some conversation about the most important things happening in our parish's life. We'll also have elections for two important leadership positions: Vestry members and delegates to our Diocesan Convention.
We hope all our members and friends will attend. According to church canons, eligible voters are all Incarnation members who are 18 and older, have been on the parish's membership rolls for at least 6 months, have received Communion at least once in the past year, and have made a financial contribution (of any size).

Nominations for Vestry and Convention Delegates
Our Vestry is our governing board: a body of lay leaders who are responsible, together with the Rector, for the mission, finances and buildings of the Church of the Incarnation. Members serve a three-year term. Serving on vestry is a significant commitment and an extraordinarily rewarding way to get deeply involved in the life of our parish. Four vestry members will be elected at the Annual Meeting. More information about vestry roles and responsibilities is available via the link on the nominations form above.
Delegates to Convention will serve as voting members at the 2024 Convention of our Diocese of Northern California. This year's Convention will not require travel as it is being held online. The date has not yet been announced but is likely to be in late October or early November. Convention is a great way to learn more about the wider church and our diocesan family and participate in the leadership and governance of the Episcopal Church. The seven candidates receiving the most votes will serve as Delegates and additional candidates will serve as Alternates.
