Local authorities have set up temporary evacuation points in these locations.
If you don't have a good place to go, if you need practical support, or if you just need to talk or pray, please call Pastor Stephen at (707) 579-2604 (after hours, follow the instructions for the priest-on-call line).
A group of parishioners have been calling members in evacuation zones. If you're under evacuation orders and haven't received a phone call, please contact Stephen by phone or email. We may not have been able to reach you or may need to update our contact information.

Noon Prayer This Week, Monday-Friday at 12:00 p.m.

Join us for Noon Prayer at 12:00 p.m. each day through Friday on Zoom. Use the same Zoom link we use for Sunday services (see News and Notes for link). The services will also be streamed to our Facebook Live page.

Other Incarnation events for this week

Outdoor Morning Prayer is cancelled for Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Tuesday, Sept. 29: Lectionary Lunch will be replaced by Noonday Prayer.
Tuesday, Sept. 29: Vestry meeting will be postponed a week, to Oct. 6.
Sun., Oct. 4: We are not sure yet whether we'll be able to hold our planned outdoor Eucharist services. The wardens and Stephen will monitor conditions and make a decision by Friday of this week.

It can feel overwhelming to have to cope with crisis after crisis. In all of it--wildfires, COVID-19, injustice and political struggle--Jesus is walking alongside us. Let's join in praying this prayer:

A Prayer in Time of Disaster (from the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth)

O God, our times are in your hand. In the midst of uncertainty lead us by your never-failing grace as we seek to be agents of healing and hope. Walk with us through difficult times; watch over us in danger; and give to us a spirit of love and compassion for those who suffer and mourn. And finally, remind us that you have promised never to leave us, so that even in the valley of the shadow of death your love may be felt, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Incarnation is located at 550 Mendocino Avenue in downtown Santa Rosa, just south of the corner with Cherry Street.

Our church parking lot is located around the corner at 636 Cherry Street. The lot often fills up for our Sunday morning services. Additional free church parking is available in the small gravel lot at the corner of Mendocino and Cherry, or in the city garage at 521 7th Street (free on Sundays), which is a two-minute walk from the church. Finally, street parking is also free on Sundays.

We're also located close to several bus lines, and we have a bike rack in the central courtyard.

Children aren't just the church's future—they're an essential part of our faith community right now. At Incarnation we strive to serve our kids' growing faith, and we know they have much to teach adults, too. Children are always welcome in worship: any age, any time.

Episcopal worship follows an ancient pattern that dates to the earliest days of the Christian church. The first half of the Eucharist is the Liturgy of the Word the second half is the Liturgy of the Table, also called Holy Communion. If you've spent time in Episcopal, Roman Catholic, Lutheran, or Eastern Orthodox churches, much of our liturgy will seem familiar. If you're unfamiliar with liturgical Christian worship, don't worry. You're welcome to participate as fully as is right for you, or to just relax into the liturgy and let the rest of the congregation carry you in worship.
