From the Invite+Welcome+Connect team
We had a great ministry fair on Sunday, September 24th and a super turnout —
Thanks to all our ministry leaders for your participation and creative displays. A special shout-out to parish administrator Alison Cole and her team of office volunteers for putting together all the printed materials, sexton Eric Ramsay for setting up the banners and all the tables, and Catherine and Bob Priestley for their extra-special efforts at a busy coffee hour. Many hands, light work.
And thanks to all the parishioners who browsed the tables, learned about the ministries and groups. We heard from several folks that they visited ministries they didn’t know we have at Incarnation … interest was piqued and several groups got signups, too.
Bingo was a big success, especially among the kids! Everyone got prizes. As for the grownups, congratulations to Natur Livingston and Bill Glenn for turning in the first cards to get Bingo, Karen Schneider who was first in turning in a card with over 16 squares filled, and pastoral care coordinator Doreen Van Leeuwen for the most creative table display.
For anyone who missed the fair and would like to learn more about the ministries and groups at Incarnation, the Welcome team will set up a ministry information display with copies of the Directory of Ministries, flyers, cards and signup sheets near the Welcome Center in Farlander Hall through Sunday Oct. 1.
