FROM THE GREEN TEAM: SEASON OF CREATION
Between September 1 and October 6, our church is joining churches worldwide in observing a special Season of Creation. This is a time to reflect, pray, and learn about our role as stewards of our common home.
The Season of Courage installation, which debuted at our diocesan Fearless Faith Revival in April, is on display at Incarnation during this Season of Creation. It includes 15 stories about clergy and lay individuals showing courage for social justice and the environment, and an invitation for us to pray for courage. The installation was created as a joint project of our diocese's Commission on the Environment and Commission for Intercultural Ministries, led by our own Miriam Casey.
Join us at 9:00 for special Sunday Forum discussions on each of the Sundays from now through October 6 (see below for details). And join us for a special Issues Forum on Sunday, October 6, at 3:30 p.m., to reflect on local election issues affecting our environment.
We pray in this season for courage to be more loving toward Creation and each other.
