Congratulate our EfM Graduates!
This Sunday, join us in congratulating our EfM graduates, Bev Clarke, Amy Nykamp, Cindy May and Priscilla Johnstone on completing 4 years of study.
Priscilla shares, have you ever wondered about a perplexing piece of Scripture and wished you could explore it further with someone who would listen carefully to you? I have always had so many questions about religion, faith, practice, discipleship and how my own beliefs fit in. For a long time, I was on a solitary journey and when EfM was offered, I was very excited to become a part of this group and thus began an incredible process of exploration, growth and understanding within our small community of students. I had never experienced anything like it and it has become an important part of my daily life. If you have ever considered EfM, do give yourself the gift of this experience.
Cindy shares, EfM has taught me to look at scripture critically. To delve into their deeper meaning. I also learned the fascinating history of the Christian Church. Lastly, I learned to think theologically about anything - not just scripture which has helped strengthen my relationship with God. It is more than a bible study. There is so much more to the scriptures than what we simply read.
EfM meets every Thursday from August to May (32 weeks) 9:30am-11:15am. For more information about EfM click here https://theology.sewanee.edu/education-for-ministry/
