Sunday, March 2: Coffee Hour planning Meeting

Coffee Hour: Everyone loves it, but who does it? Your ideas are welcome!!
Everyone and anyone who enjoys coffee hour — and wants to help sustain this wonderful ministry — is invited to a meeting in Short Hall after the 10:15 service on Sunday, March 2. There will be a few delicious coffee hour treats (of course!).
Coffee hour is at the core of building community and welcoming newcomers to Incarnation. Tasty refreshments and hot coffee are enjoyed by many each week. Over the past year, however, we have lost several longtime coffee hour hosts. Currently, we have no one covering the 3rd Sunday of the month and the 4th Sunday is only partially covered. In addition, when Daphne Vernon cut back her work schedule, she gave up responsibility for Hospitality, including coffee hour.
Anne Bishop and Cathy Wolf have stepped forward to keep things moving, and we need some energy and ideas for sustaining a vibrant coffee hour. Come hear how this weekly fellowship time happens currently and brainstorm ways to do it going forward. What models are there for identifying hosts? How can more of those who enjoy coffee hour help make it take place each week without it becoming a burden? All suggestions are welcome!
If you cannot make it to the meeting but have ideas, or if you have questions about the meeting, please contact Cathy [email protected] or Anne [email protected].
