October Book Group on Hope: A User's Manual
A sign recently seen in a local shop says, “Embrace Hope." We may be worried about the “big” things - climate change, political upheaval, war and famine, or we may be worried about “small” things more personal to us - relationships, illness, work and vocation. Let’s gather and discover how to have hope in our lives. Join us for an October book study, facilitated by our own Grace Harris, on Hope: a User's Manual by MaryAnn McKibben Dana.
This book is divided into 6 chapters, each consisting of 6-8 short essays with included reflections. We will gather to talk about which ideas resonate the most with us and how we can use these ideas to have more genuine hope in our lives. If you like to journal, there are excellent prompts in here. There are also several additional resources online to complement this book. There are two options for joining this group. Click on your choice of meeting below to RSVP.
