Celebrating Holy Baptism This Spring
Are you considering Holy Baptism for yourself, or for a child?
Baptism is the sacrament by which we are adopted as God's children and become members of Christ's Body, the Church. If you've never been baptized, or if you have a child you'd like to be baptized, God may be calling you to celebrate Baptism at Incarnation.
The Great Vigil of Easter (Saturday, March 30, at 8:00 p.m.) is the most traditional occasion for adults to be baptized. Children can also be baptized at the Vigil, or can be baptized on Easter morning (Sunday, March 31) or another Sunday in Easter Season. Another traditional occasion for baptism for both children and adults is Pentecost, which will be on Sunday, May 19 this year.
