Needlepoint Kneeler Project Update
Our first meeting is Sunday, February 12, 11:30 a.m. in Short Hall and we still have room for more volunteers.
This past fall our vestry approved a project proposed by Diane Schoenrock to create needlepointed kneeler covers for the altar rail cushions in the church as part of our 150th anniversary celebration. Diane is still recruiting volunteers to participate in the project--see her announcement below.
The needlepoint kneeler project is close to beginning as it is now in the final design phase. There has been a good turnout, but I would still love to know who is interested in assisting with this project and what your needlepoint stitching experience has been. If you are interested but have no experience and are willing to devote time and energy, I would love to know that too.
At our first meeting we will make plans for our combined effort. If there are those of you who have never stitched, I will plan a small project that you can work on and complete to see if this is really something that you might enjoy. I am looking forward to having you join me with this project which will enhance our beautiful church for many years to come. Please RSVP to [email protected].
