Resources for following the biblical lessons ahead of Sunday

If you are wondering what biblical lessons are coming for any given Sunday, you can look ahead on a webpage that tracks the Revised Common Lectionary:

Clicking on the date will show a list of the lessons followed by the text of each lesson. Most Sundays also give two options, listed as “Track 1” and “Track 2.” We generally follow Track 1. Occasionally, we will substitute a saint day if it is in proximity to a Sunday (for example, St. Francis in October).

If you’d like to read a commentary on the lessons, a top-notch website called “The Edge of Enclosure” presents multiple perspectives, from contemporary to ancient. The website is prepared by the Rev.
