The Rev. Jim Richardson, Priest-in-Charge
There is much more in the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer than we use on a typical Sunday. In fact, there is a section in the prayer book that is designed specially for use at home by individuals or families.
Beginning on page 136, the Daily Devotions are divided into one-page prayer formats for morning, noon, early evening and “At the Close of Day.” Each of these prayer formats has a verse or two from a psalm, a biblical passage and a prayer. These formats are easy to use and are a great way to enfold your day in prayer.
If you don’t have a Book of Common Prayer, you can purchase your copy in our parish Bookstore.
