Wednesday, November 13, 6:00-7:30 p.m.: Dinner and Farmworker Forum with Zeke Guzman
by Stephen Shaver
Dear friends,
Our Becoming Beloved Community team has put together a special event next Wednesday evening I hope you can attend. Many of you know Zeke Guzman, a good friend of Incarnation who helped us create our children's Garden of Dreams this year. Zeke is the president of Latinos Unidos of Sonoma County and an advocate for local farmworkers. He was involved recently in a study by UC Berkeley's Public Health/Human Rights Center on Sonoma County farmworkers' experiences working during wildfires and with the Ag Pass program.
On Wednesday, November 13, Zeke will be part of a panel sharing findings from that study. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. in Farlander Hall, with a presentation at 6:30 p.m. and questions and answers to follow. This is a learning event for our whole community, hosted by Incarnation's Becoming Beloved Community ministry as an act of hospitality and a way of building relationships with our neighbors. To RSVP, please sign up at the link below.
